Made in 1929 in a Walnut finish. Warm, clear and even tone. Very good condition.
$11,000.00 (Appraised in 2004).

Knabe is distinguished for a tone quality that has often been described as the nearest approach to the human singing voice. It’s identified with the highest standards of manufacture, distinctive for touch, durability and endurance. The Knabe piano was the official piano of the Metropolitan Opera house in New York for over 40 years and Albert Einstein, who was a devoted music lover, owned a Knabe piano.
