FIRST OF ALL, NATURAL OLD (ANCIENT) CHINESE JADEITE IS NOT JADEITE BUT AMPHIBOLE JADE OR NEPHRITE INSTEAD. BURMESE JADEITE IS THE FINEST OF ALL JADEITE MINED INCLUDING THE RENOWNED IMPERIAL GREEN (EMERALD GREEN) JADEITE!
Here is a very beautiful SOLID mottled green "A Jade" (jadeite) carving of a blossoming flower, where the rough was mined from upper Burma (Jade Tract), at the Khaisumaw dike on the plateau at Tawmaw, renown for it's mined multi color jadeite. We are talking a absolutely top gem carving here my fellow members! This gem carving has a beautiful mottled green color, remarkable polish, with an excellent face up and exceptional eye appeal. It does have a small drilled hole at the top of the carving so it may be used as a pendant.
