A series of laser treatments can be used to remove unwanted hair. Laserscope technology is FDA approved for permanent hair reduction on all skin types. The laser creates a beam of light which is selectively absorbed by the hair follicle while leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. Laser treatments are also an effective way to treat unsightly leg veins. Laser light passes through the skin into the vein. After heating, the vein walls collapse and seal shut.
